Delete Account Policy

Overview

You have the right to permanently delete your Arihum account and all associated personal and health data at any time. This policy explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, what (if anything) is retained, and the timeline for complete erasure.

How to delete your account

Account deletion is available directly inside the app at no cost and requires no email request:

  1. 1.Open the Arihum app and sign in
  2. 2.Tap the Profile tab (bottom navigation)
  3. 3.Tap Settings
  4. 4.Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  5. 5.Confirm the deletion when prompted

If you are unable to access the app, you may also request deletion by emailing hello@arihum.com from the address associated with your account.

What gets deleted

Upon confirmed deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly erased:

  • Your account credentials and email address
  • Your full health profile (name, age, medical conditions, medications, allergies, health goals)
  • All uploaded lab reports and medical documents
  • Your entire chat history and health conversation records
  • Generated health summaries and reports
  • Medication reminders and notification preferences
  • Device tokens and push notification registrations
  • All usage data and session logs tied to your account

What may be retained

We retain minimal data only where required by applicable law or to resolve outstanding financial or legal obligations:

  • Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate analytics that cannot be linked back to you
  • Transaction records required for tax or financial compliance (no health data included)

No personal health data is retained after account deletion.

Deletion timeline

  • Immediate: your account is deactivated and you are signed out of all devices
  • Within 24 hours: your health data and files are removed from active databases
  • Within 30 days: all data is fully purged from backups and all third-party sub-processors

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) before deleting your account. Refunds are subject to the policies of your app store.
